Kate Raftery currently serves the Peace Corps as an expert consultant in the Office of the Director. Kate began her journey with the Peace Corps and international development when she first joined as a volunteer to Paraguay in the early ‘70s.

She was later appointed as Country Director to Paraguay, Peru, Eastern Caribbean, and Honduras.
